Platoy Lemony – Mahogany designed by Akira Ishiwatari, uses honey-colored Japanese acetate and its main hallmark is the play of volumes in temples and organic shapes of its fronts, inspired by Art-Déco.

Akira Ishiwatari was born and raised in Tokyo and is the creative mind on which the entire brand is based. The fusion of Eastern culture and trends with European and American ones has strongly inspired the design of these glasses.

The name Platoy, a play on words meaning “play plastic toys”, evokes the wonder of a child who for the first time picks up a new toy, but in reality the glasses offered are handmade with the obsessive care typical of the Japanese.
