Portrait HAL Tortoise is inspired by the world of science fiction.
HAL 900 (Heuristically Programmed Algorithmic Computer) is a fictional super computer endowed with artificial intelligence that appears in the Space Odyssey series, initiated by 2001, A Space Odyssey.
Round sunglasses in thick acetate with matte finish in tortoise color and grey lenses.
The Art-Fakt series to which this specific eyewear belongs have been inspired in retro futurism. The vision of a post industrial future that, in different art fields, permeated aesthetics and functionality.
Art-inspired designer eyewear
Valentina and Gabriel are the soul of Portrait Eyewear. Two half-Venezuelan, half-Spanish siblings living in Italy. After years of experience separately, in 2013 they decided to join forces and create Portrait eyewear, their collection of art-inspired signature eyewear.
